PETS AND PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES (under construction)

ONADue to an episode of daily life, we noticed that a strong bond was established between a 9 year old girl with brain paralysis and a dalmata dog. Animals help preserving the physical and emotional equilibrium of human beings. In most cases, they develop into a main factor of socialization of the person, especially in children.

Animal behavior is based on reciprocity of what they obtain from people, therefore, they don't care about the way people dress or their limitations. Moreover, animals can perceive what people need. Real social benefits are obtained from this bond with an animal and it's not because they are magical, it's a question of increasing the standard of living as people obtain what they like and enjoy.

PETS

There are installments which develop different topics related to pets. These consist of a short text and a high drawing context which illustrates the text. It is thought for children, old people or mild mentally handicapped people.

Objectives

-Promote the knowledge people must have about the needs of a pet.
Encourage and strengthen the bond between pets and the members of the family.

-Make people aware of the importance of education in our pets, with clear and simple limits, in order to improve their living conditions not only at home but in public places.

-Spread the benefits pets bring to our daily life, on an emotional basis, in particular to children with special needs, people with emotional disorders and the elderly.
